Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson is dead tired after a star turn as co-hostess of the Soul Train Awards recently. The good natured "Baby Boy" star tweeted that one of the outfits she wore on that star-studded night was killing her.
"ookaaay whew! I held in my stomach very well in that purple vintage Versace. Ya'll I was suckin in so hard I thought I was gonna pass out."
But since the actress played her role in "Benjamin Buttons" it's been the fans everywhere that have been faint with adoration.
Henson is clearly the "it" girl of black Hollywood, recently starring in Tyler Perry's "I Can Do Bad By Myself" and is slated to be in several other fims including "Hurricane Season."
Henson's last name has been somewhat famous decades before her birth: George Henson (1866-1955), one of the first men to discover the North Pole, is her distant cousin.
Henson has been through her share of tragedy. Her father died in 2006. The father of her only son, Marcel, died in 2004. Still, Henson is a regular riot on Twitter.
She expounds regularly about the funny things in life. Check what she tweeted about Tiger Woods' car accident. "Now what did Tiger do 4 his wife 2 bust the back of his car windows out?! Sounds like he was creep creep creepin! She got some hood in her."
